This Week's Highlight!

I feel a bit silly right now..still trying to "write" my blog, because I'm pretty sure I don't have any subscribers just yet. But...with a LITTLE extra effort, I'm sure that'll change. ;)

So, I know you're waiting for it. Right..? Right...? Here is it. This week, I discovered that March has five weeks! You know what that means? Instead of having one week off of reporting, I had 2 weeks off! You see, with the retail fiscal calendar, normally I have to spend 40 hours of my life every other week "reporting" and doing "findings" for each client. Yet, this week, I can wait until next week! Yay!!!!

Yes, I am a nerd now that I work at Morpheus. I "report" just like everyone else over here....ah...metrics.....

I'm one for one...with one posting, and one comment. I'm hoping to keep up with this ratio. That being said, although I've said pretty much nothing so far, I'd like you to comment on my lack of creativity...or maybe my ability to remain completely mysterious, while at the same time (if you can actually call it this..), managing a blog. :)

WHY START A BLOG TODAY?!?!

Why am I today starting my blog? The answer is short and simple -- I have to. :) This is just one of the many joys of working for an interactive advertising company. A new initiative? Contribute to a blog! Become familiar with the medium!

First, I thought, "Okay, that's easy!" I'll just post a comment on someone else's blog and take a screenshot as evidence of my contribution! Then, the wonderful director that implemented this new blog initiative told me that commenting is not a sufficient contribution. I'd say my lack of blog "know how" only proves how necessary this new initiative is. :) And, if that very person that came up with this new initiative reads this...then I hope she's flattered!!!
