I was just on the phone with my friend MW (whose name just so happens to be mine in
Polonaise), and she mentioned she had a blog! I am such a nerd, so I said,
OMG..What is it called! Tell me!! Tell me!!! Do you talk about me on your blog? I was hoping she'd brush my ego. But, instead she said, "Oh no. I have much more important things to blog about than YOU!"
Haha..no surprise there. But, here's her link anyway! I'm excited to read it... http://thesmarmyrevolution.blogspot.com
So, MW is moving back to Oklahoma tomorrow! And, I'm going to miss her a ton. I think she's had enough of the brother jimmy's bar crawls, and is ready to go back to where she came from. But, it's been a good 5 or 7 years here, and I think she's had her fair share of the city. Her parents came out to help pack her up, and bring her back home. They had invited all of her close friends out to dinner with them at Carmines on the
UWS - for one last
hurrah - and it was also her mom's birthday. How sweet is this? - Her mom said, "Having MW come back home is the greatest birthday gift anyone could ever give me." Adorable. She's a charming woman. And, I think my eyes started to water up a touch (not sure who else at the table was a sucker). Anyway, it just shows you how special the bond is between a mother and a daughter. Or, parents and children for that matter. But, I'm getting side tracked...
MW's mom brought everyone these large baby blue goody bags. Inside were chocolates shaped in the state of Oklahoma, maps of Oklahoma, travel guides for Oklahoma City, pamphlets about why Oklahoma City is the greatest place to visit! You get the drift. Her mom gave us these things so we would all go out there and visit MW! Sweetest gesture ever. Truly charming woman...Oklahoma steals MW from the city, but invites the city to visit MW in Oklahoma.
MW will be missed. We'll need to arrange Eurotrip # 2 soon! :) XO
